Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I was never big on St. Patrick's Day, but then I married a redhead and assumed a very Irish last name. Kinda had to start celebrating.
The leprechauns found us again this year! Pee'd green in our toilets, caught Nina, upset the furniture, turned pictures upside down, and wrote on our windows (the writing ended up being too faint to really see... gotta figure out something better for next year!).
Boy, was Mommy mad at those leprechauns! Fortunately, they also left us breakfast.
Corned beef is in the crockpot and soda bread will be baked this afternoon. That's MY favorite part of the day.

Argh - upside down pictures - that's what I forgot!!! We also had green toilet water and upturned chairs. Our breakfast was green pancakes and green milk which the kids enjoyed. I like poor Nina's coat. Nice touch! Our friends set a leprechaun trap that never managers to catch one, but they enjoy the setup nonetheless.

My girls are OBSESSED with leprechauns this year, and LOVED seeing that they turned your dog green. :) They brought us Lucky Charms, too. And dyed our milk green.

So cute! We have never gotten in to the whole leprechaun thing around here. This year was too hard, but maybe next year. We always do a good April Fool's Day though. :)
